GARETH Mansell struck an injury-time winner to keep Newtown Reserves on top of the Spar Mid Wales League.
Tywyn snatched a 27th minute lead at Latham Park with Mark Edmonson punishing Shane Sutton’s error.

Tywyn went close to doubling their lead before Tom Goodwin levelled it following a goalmouth scramble.

Newtown went ahead for the first time on the hour with Richie Evans crashing home.

However with 10 minutes remaining the visitors levelled through Gerwyn Griffiths.

In a fiery end to the game Tywyn manager Steve Rogers was banished to the stands.

It got worse for Rogers as Newtown struck a late winner with Mansell drilling home.
