PRESTEIGNE dug in their heels to claim a draw in division three at Weobley in one of the few games to survive the weekend weather.
An impressive innings from Weobley saw them post a massive 261-7 to chase.

Steve Dixon top scored withy 78 while fellow opener Phil Williams (41) ensured the foundations of a big score were set early.

Paul Williams (24) and Wes Evans (27) also contributed as Weobley closed for 261.

Gary Rhodes (2-45) and Will Cellard (2-46) were the pick of the Presteigne bowling attack.

Presteigne's top order was cautious in reply and by the time Kevin Hurds (3-20) and Paul Williams (2-16) struck the visitors were in trouble.

Tony Thompson (18), Will Cellard (16) and Gary Rhodes (15no) stemmed the tide of fallen wickets as Presteigne hung on for a draw with 97-7.
