RHAYADER Town capitalised on Llanrhaeadr selection headache to stroll to victory at the Weirglodd.
The Radnorshire side raced into a comfortable lead with teenager Richie Powell opening the floodgates.

Mark Davies doubled Rhayader’s lead before Chris Murphy headed home a third.

Llanrhaeadr reduced the arrears when Mike Roberts raced onto a long ball to lift his speculative shot over an advancing Dylan McPhee, who had a rare run out in goal.

Rhayader were not to be denied with Powell completing his brace before Tom Bethel was upended in the area with Kevin Martin converting the penalty.

Llanrhaeadr player-manager Adam Burgess converted a late consolation after good work to square the ball by Mike Jones.

RHAYADER: McPhee, G Evans, Morgan, G Jones, Murphy, Bethel, Davies, Owen, Martin, Powell, Maunders. Subs: P Davies, Thomas, B Jones, Rockonawski

LLANRHAEADR: Edwards, N Jones, Williams, M Roberts, M Jones, M Roberts, S Jones, P Jones, Burgess, W Jones, Poole. Sub: Vaughan
