DARREN Martin starred as Llanrhaeadr celebrated their first win of the season.
An evenly poised first-half saw home goalkeeper Paul Edwards kept busy by the attack minded students.

Ed Jenkins was denied on several occasions with wayward finishing ensuring the home goal remained in tact.

With five minutes left of the first-half Martin crossed for Alun Jones to head the villagers into the lead.

The second-half followed a similar pattern and with 15 minutes remaining a long free-kick pumped forward by Mel Roberts was converted by Martin.

LLANRHAEADR: Edwards, Williams, M Roberts, Kelly, M Jones, Peter Jones, Martin, Poole, Furniss, W Jones, A Jones. Subs: Vaughan, Jenkins, M Roberts, Ogilvey

ABER UNI: Penfold, McKay, Parkes, Bloxham, R Jones, Greaves, A Jones, Poyntz, Donoway, Coles, Jenkins. Subs: Cook, Birkhead, Tomovic
