LLANIDLOES IIs claimed a morale boosting draw at home to Wroxeter IIs thanks to a 92 run second wicket stand.
Daniel Lewis struck 12 fours in a top scoring knock alongside Joe Pritchard (49) as Llanidloes IIs stood firm.

Wroxeter IIs had posted 217 to chase with opener Duncan Brearley smashing a century before being caught by Geraint Evans off Joe Pritchard (1-45).

Dan Massey (38) ensured Wroxeter closed on 217-3.

Despite losing opener Luke Pritchard (16) the second wicket partnership revived Llanidloes’ innings.

A middle order wobble ended hopes of victory but Geraint Evans (15no) hung on.

Elsewhere Guilsfield stuttered to an 87 run defeat at Tibberton IIs

A strong batting display from the hosts, including top scorer Mark Howells (50), saw them post 199-6.

Guilsfield failed to challenge in reply and suffered a top and middle order collapse. Tom Kneale (24) and Dan Brown (19) offered hope, but it was not enough to stop Guilsfield being dismissed for 112.
