Llangedwyn leap into early lead

LLANGEDWYN lead Honda Division One after storming to an emphatic 4-1 win at Newtown Rangers.
Barry Morris maintained his bright start to the season with a brace, with Zak Manhire completing the scoring for the visitors, with a double of his own. Tom Smith netted a consolation for Rangers.

Elsewhere two goals from Chris Weaver helped Water
loo Rovers Reserves to a 2-0 win at Meifod.

TNS Colts romped to a 5-0 victory at Llanfyllin Town Reserves with Andy Morris, Grant Butler, Eric Ramsey, Zak Ward and Charlie Proctor on target.

Meanwhile Guilsfield Reserves celebrated their first win of the season with a 2-1 verdict at Four Crosses.

Robbie Spragg and Steve Andrew goals cancelled out a reply from James Whittaker for Crosses.

Defaid Du are the surprise Mitsubishi Division Two leaders following a 10-2 drubbing of Kerry Reserves.

Sean Butler led the rout with a five goal haul with Ryan Morris adding a brace. Alex Gunn, Sam Kerr and Jamie Jones completed the scoring with Sam Morgan and Phil Ryle replying.

Llanfechain remain unbeaten after edging out rivals Llanwddyn 5-4 in a nine goal thriller at Wddyn Park.

Mike Jones struck twice for Llanfechain with Lloyd Meredith, Nick Breaks and an own goal ensuring the visitors a slender triumph. Ben Williams struck twice in response with Tim Gomm and Lee Richards keeping the hosts in contention.

Trewern United were comfortable 6-0 winners over Llanidloes Town Reserves with Lee Dutton, Craig Emberton and Mark Emberton sharing the goals.

Elsewhere Carno Reserves made light work of Trefonnen with Dan Jones and Dave Jellett goals and a hat-trick from Mike Clerk.

Welshpool Town Reserves drew 1-1 at Dyffryn Banw Reserves with Ian McLeod cancelling out Dan Pritchard’s goal.

Two goals from Jon Richards inspired Llanfair United Reserves to a 3-1 win over Churchstoke.

Ross Lewis completed the hosts scoring with Neil Yapp netting a consolation.
