Bluebirds stem player exodus as Davies joins
CAERSWS have stemmed the tide of players out of the Recreation Ground by securing the signature of defender Mark Davies.
The 20-year-old made 14 appearances on loan for the Bluebirds last season after failing to break into TNS’ first team plans.
Davies is a former Rochdale apprentice and his signature provides a timely boost for Caersws after losing a spate of star players.
Ex-Welshpool Town starlet Jonathan Jones has also pledged his future to the cause.
Manager Dave Taylor has also moved to bring former Newtown goalkeeper John Rowley to the Recreation Ground following the demotion of Queens Park from the Cymru Alliance.
Defender Steve Hughes has also agreed terms with the Bluebirds and joins from Welsh Premier rivals Airbus UK Broughton.
Meanwhile striker John Slater has departed the Recreation Ground for Airbus UK after four goals in just six appearances following his arrival from Llandyrnog United in January.
