THE New Saints take on their toughest challenge of the domestic season so far with a trip to old rivals Llanelli on Saturday (3.45pm).
The eyes of the principality will turn to Stebonheath Park with the S4C cameras making the visit for the early season championship clash.
However TNS make the journey without star striker Chris Sharp, who was dismissed for foul and abusive language in the 2-1 win over Bala Town at Park Hall last weekend.
Striker Matty Williams is also a major doubt after sustaining an eye injury in the same game, with manager Mike Davie set to rest his hopes on Alex Darlington.
Davies insisted his side would improve as the season progressed with their European adventure now consigned to the history books.
“We want to do it again,” said Davies. “We have some wonderful memories from this season’s adventure and we want to create more next season.
“This all starts now by ensuring that we mount another successful title bid, with a good display at Llanelli this weekend our first obstacle.
“We have had some great matches with them in the past and I am sure they will once again be challenging come the end of the season.”
Goalkeeper Simon Williams has been loaned to Prestatyn Town for the remainder of the season, while midfielder John McKenna has also been loaned to Newtown.
