CAERSWS will have a full squad available for their opening home game of the Huws Gray Alliance season against last season’s champions Llangefni Town on Saturday.

Newly installed player-coach Hugh Clarke returns to lead the Bluebirds defence alongside new signing Gareth Sudlow who is in line to make his home bow along with midfielder Karl Seliaerts and fellow summer signings Richie Evans and Neil Mitchell as well as on-loan goalkeeper Alex Ramsey.

Evans will also welcome back Jacob Smith and Simon Jones from the side which went down fighting in a 1-0 opening day defeat at Rhyl last weekend.

Evans said: “It is a big game for our lads. Llangefni lost their first game and as defending champions they will want to bounce back this weekend.

“Alex has not put a foot wrong arriving while it was also good to get Gareth Sudlow signed before the Rhyl game. He is a big lad and will be an asset at the back.”

Rhayader Town entertain fellow newboys Rhydymwyn in their first Huws Gray Alliance match at the Weirglodd since their summer promotion.

“We know they will be an attacking side and we must take on board the lessons from our defeat at Penrhyncoch and put them into use on Saturday," said player-manager Dylan McPhee who will hand home debuts to new signings Robbie Steele and Wayne Farmer along with goalkeeper Ian Havard.

However, winger Mattie Lewis is a fitness doubt after sustaining a head injury during the 4-1 defeat at Penrhyncoch last weekend.

Meanwhile Penrhyncoch will name an unchanged squad for their re-arranged match with Ruthin Town as they bid to maintain their early season form.

Guilsfield travel to newly promoted Rhos Aelwyd who stunned Flint Town United upon their return to the league following a lengthy absence.

Manager Mike Barton has made three new signings in his bid to build on last season’s promising campaign with defender Rob Hawkins and midfielder Tom Kelly joined at the Guils by striker Sean Butler.

“They are all good signings and we are also looking to sign a new goalkeeper in time for the match at Rhos Aelwyd who showed against Flint that they are up for the challenge this season.”

Technogroup Welshpool return to Deeside to take on Flint Town United with assistant manager Benji Evans confident of an improved showing.

However, goalkeeper Gary Foster is an injury doubt after sustaining a bruised finger during his side’s opening day hammering at Gap Connah's Quay.
