THE annual Heart of Wales Rugby 7s will once again feature stars of the game with thousands of people expected to descend on Llanidloes this summer..
Former Wales internationals Mike Phillips and Andy Powell will both be arriving at Cae Hafren for the July 5th opener between Phillips’ Barbarians and the Flaming Unicorns Tough Enough to Care.

Brecon-raised Powell remains a popular figure after a career which also featured several years with Wigan Warriors in the Rugby League and his now legendary drunken escapades in a golf cart.
Once again the weekend event will feature rugby, netball, hockey and boxing as well as music and entertainment.
