ABERMULE produced the shock of the day with a 4-1 at home to Forden United in the MMP Central Wales League North on Saturday.

Mike Humphreys led the scoring with two goals for the hosts while Aron James and Oliver Jones completed their scoring with United replying through Jack Pryce.

Four Crosses stormed to a 5-1 win at home to Barmouth United with goals from Will Howard, Rob Weir, Archie Burton, Ben Simms and Max Thomas cancelling a reply from William Jones.

Tregaron Turfs prevailed 4-2 winners at home to Aberystwyth University in the ER Jenkins Cup.

Josh Taylor netted twice with Ryan Davies and Liam Jones completing the Turfs' tally while the Academicals replied through Jonny Mead and Will Ludlow.

Llanilar and Penparcau battled out a 3-3 draw with goals from Ioan Jones, Harvey Matthews and Ryan Hopkins cancelled out by an Aaron Davies double and Ciaran Evans strike for Arky.

Rhayader Town battled to a 2-0 win at Knighton Town courtesy of goals from Ryan Addison and Darren Murphy with home goalkeeper Nick Cadwallader sent off late on.

Jamie Blythe starred with a hat-trick as Presteigne St Andrews stormed to an 8-1 win at Penybont United with Andrew White also netting twice.

Further goals from Jude Horton, Niall Rhodes and a Riley Bethell own goal completed the tally while the Polecats replied through Owain Rowlands.
