ED Baker scored the only goal of the match as Guilsfield battled to a 1-0 win over Chirk AAA at Clos Mytton.
The match represented a welcome return to action for both sides as the JD Cymru North club just edged victory over the visiting Ardal North East League side.
Elsewhere more mid Wales clubs continued their return to action with behind closed doors friendlies.
Ardal North East League side Machynlleth prevailed 2-0 winners at MMP-NL Mid Wales League East side Forden United while Penparcau edged a 3-2 win at the expense of MMP-NL Mid Wales League West side Tregaron Turfs.
Builth Wells were also in action with a 4-2 win at Talgarth Town.
