NEWTOWN Football Club’s Latham Park has been selected to host semi-final ties in this season’s Welsh Schools Cup.
The Robins’ 3G facility will host several semi-final ties in March 2019 with an unconfirmed venue in Cardiff hosting the rest with the finals taking place across the border at TNS Football Club’s Park Hall.
The region has enjoyed much success in recent years with Llanfair Caereinion and Llanfyllin both represented in the final by their representative girls sides.
A Newtown Football Club spokesman said: “We have the ability to host any game, so it is great to have such prestigious games like this coming to Latham Park.”
