WELSHPOOL’S thriving junior set-up continues to point to a bright future.
Last weekend the club’s under 16s side hosted Wrexham in a friendly with the Mid Wales side underlining their growing potential with a 38-34 victory.
The Maesydre club runs sides at under 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 level and this season entered a senior side into the North Wales IIs League as a bridge between junior and senior level rugby.
The club also runs a successful women’s section.
