LLANIDLOES Rugby Club hosted the 21st annual junior festivals during the past fortnight.

More than 60 teams from across the region descended on Cae Hafren for the annual event with more than 900 children participating between the under 10 and under 16 age grade.

The under 10s, 11s and 12s events were held as festivals with the focus on participation while the under 13, 14, 15 and 16 competitions were held last weekend.

Among the winners were Builth Wells under 12s, coached by Garry Mason.

The team, comprising of Ryan Jones, Jac Conti, Owain Corbett, Owain Rowlands, Sam Bridgewater, Ceri Davies, Keegan McGing, Baydn Powell, Matthew Price, Dominic Chew, Sam Williams and Lewis Bevan took home silverware.

Organiser Adam Price said: “A huge thank you from the club to all teams for attending and to all volunteers for helping to make the event as successful as always.”
