THE Anglesey League surprises continued with some interesting results this weekend.
Bryngwran Bulls dropped points for the second Saturday running, as they were held to a goalless draw at home to Cefni.
Holyhead Hotspur Reserves pulled out all the stops to beat Caergybi in the hotly-contested Holyhead derby. A goal from Haydn Williams was enough to earn Mike Kelly's youthful side a memorable victory.
Elsewhere, Cemaes broke Llandegfan hearts as they denied them what looked liked being their first three points of the season by beating them 4-3.
The hosts went 1-0 up inside ten minutes then Geraint Roberts fired home a stunner. Cemaes were level soon after as James Sullivan converted a penalty and they went 2-1 up before half time thanks to a Liam Rodriguez strike.
Llandeg pulled it back to 2-2 via Dave Parry and made it 3-2 minutes later when Kurt Harris nodded home at the back post. Cemaes completed a stunning turn around in the final ten minutes though as James Sullivan bagged his second and a deflected Dafydd Jones strike found its way in for 4-3.
Finally, Bodorgan came away from Pentraeth Reserves with a well-deserved 2-1 win. Goals from Luke Allaway and Luke Gardiner cancelled out Peter Crowe's strike.
