BUILTH Wells geared up for the new Swalec Division Two West Central campaign with a 29-10 win at Aberystwyth last weekend.
Coach Simon John praised the Bulls for their display which stood them in good stead ahead of this weekend’s Cambrian Training Mid Wales Shield final against Welshpool in Llanidloes.
“I was very pleased,” said John. “We have kept last season’s squad with eight or lads making the step up from our youth team.
“Training has gone really well so far with 28 players making the trip to Aberystwyth so we are looking forward to the new season.”
