Alberbury 145 all out lost to Shelton 146-3 by seven wickets
ALBERBURY’S inconsistent campaign continued with a seven wicket defeat at Shelton.
Mark Jones top scored for Alberbury before being caught by Matthew Morris off Ben Chambers (2-31) for a top scoring 37.
Dominic Zaza (28), James Harrap (25), Sam Morris (21) and Lawrence Fletcher (11) each fell to the outstanding Gavin Price (5-29) before Ross Griffiths (2-16) polished off the tail end with James Wynne (6no) guiding Alberbury to 145 to defend.
Morris (1-61), Neil Savage (1-24) and Andy Holloway (1-28) each took early wickets in reply.
However Matthews (66no) and Morris (28no) formed an unbroken fourth wicket partnership to steer Shelton to 146-3 and glory in the 28th over.
