THE final of the Llanfechain Summer Knock Out will take place on Sunday (6.30).
Meifod will take on Llanrhaeadr Reserves in the final after securing their berths this week.
Hywel Bennett and Rob Evans each completed doubles in a 4-1 win over Llansantffraid Reserves while Huw France’s brace and a Ryan Broadbent effort helped Llanrhaeadr Reserves to a 3-1 semi-final victory over hosts Llanfechain.
Organiser Wyn Griffiths said: “It has been a successful knock-out.
“Congratulations to both finalists and we hope for a good attendance on Sunday for what promises to be a great game.
“Thanks to the clubs and of course to all the referees and players who have taken part.”
The cup saw the reformed Llanwddyn take their first steps back into football following several years absence.
