WELSHPOOL Town have been handed a dream home tie against Aberystwyth Town in the first round of the Nathaniel MG Cup.
The MMP-NL Mid Wales League One side host their old JD Welsh Premier rivals on Tuesday, August 28.
Joint manager Neil Pryce said: “It is a great tie for the club and we look forward to entertaining a top Welsh Premier club.
“It’s going to be an extremely difficult game but will also be a great experience, especially for the younger members of the squad.”
Elsewhere in the draw Guilsfield travel to Bala Town looking to complete an upset with the hosts JD Welsh Premier preparations thrown into chaos by summer signing Andy Mangan quitting the club to link up with English League Two side Accrington Stanley.
