LLANDRINDOD Wells have welcomed the signing of versatile midfielder Mike Collister to Broadway.

The 30 year old arrives from Caersws having previously represented Rhayader Town and Newtown having come through the ranks at TNS.

Also arriving at Broadway is Cori Davies who joins from MMP-NL Mid Wales League One rivals Builth Wells.

Manager Gareth Jones said: “Mike will bring a vast amount of quality and experience to the side having played at a higher level for most of his career.”

Jones has retained a majority of last season’s squad which spent much of the campaign battling to avoid relegation.

Top scorer Kieran McCarley has signed for the forthcoming campaign and has been joined by Kieran Davies, Andrew Morgan, Shane Pritchard, Mike Watkins, Daryl Nicholls, Ben Jones, Shaun Nicholls, Ryan Sims, Ashley Jones, Robbie Nicholls and Matt Richards.

The Spamen have also raided MMP-NL Mid Wales League One rivals Knighton Town to sign goalkeeper Joey Prosser and defender Corin Jones.

The club hopes for better fortunes this season with Jones returning to manage the club for a second stint.

Jones will be assisted by Neville Pritchard and coach Tom Evans in masterminding the club’s campaign.

Llandrindod end their pre-season campaign at Herefordshire League side Kington Town on Saturday before opening their season at home to Aberaeron on August 11 and Welshpool Town on August 15.
