BEN Power marked his UK National Legends Car Championship return with two races wins at the latest rounds at Donington Park.
The 28 year old from Guilsfield returned from a four month absence due to work and personal commitments to line-up at the Derbyshire track.
Power took third place in the opening race before storming to victory in race two and a broken axle ended the third rally prematurely
A thrilling opening to the second day of racing saw either drivers exchange pole before Power edged glory after taking the lead on lap eight.
An upbeat Power said: “The weekend was mixed for me. On Saturday we had two great races but then the axle snapped in the final unfortunately.
“Sunday started well with a great scrap for the win with Steve Whitelegg and Paul Simmons and the second race went well despite some brake issues.”
Power is sponsored by Guttercrest of Oswestry and Cardiff-based public relations consultancy Weltch Media.
