LLANFAIR Caereinion Hockey Club’s rising stars represented North Wales Under 13s in a cross border competition in Manchester earlier this month.
Medi Lewis captained the North Wales U13s side and was joined in the line-up by clubmates Hannah Shirley Smith, Carys Gittins and Lois Birchall.
Clubmate Lois Tudor was also selected but was ruled out of the trip through unavailability.
Meanwhile Welshpool’s Flash Leisure Centre hosts an international level coaching camp next month.
South African international Dirkie Chamberlain and Welsh international Jo Westwood will front the camp, held from 6.30-8pm on Tuesday, August 28.
Chamberlain is one of the most decorated players in his country’s history having played at four world cups, three Commonwealth Games and one Olympic Games while Westwood has represented her country at two Commonwealth Games.
The camp is open to male and female players at a cost of £15 per person.
