A POLL on the future composition of the J T Hughes Montgomeryshire League has underlined support for change.
Next season the league will have 12 first team sides and 12 reserve strings.
Players, coaches, sponsors and supporters were asked whether they would prefer a 12 club league for first team sides and a separate reserve 12 club reserve league.
A total of 51 per cent voted in favour of maintaining the status quo.
However the remaining 49 per cent voted in favour of two separate divisions with the first team league feeding the MMP-NL Mid Wales League while the reserve league would be run as development league and bridge between youth and senior level football.
