DALIAN Cluskey has sworn to make a lifelong commitment to Newtown Wanderers Football Club as part of a summer fundraiser.
Cluskey hopes to raise at least £500 for club coffers with a promise to have Wanderers’ iconic badge tattooed to his leg by Newtown artist Gavin Steele.
Donations can be made via paypal.me/NewtownWanderers or through the club’s social media.
Meanwhile the club has been awarded £100 toward coach education as part of the latest round of Powys County Council’s community chest grants.
The deadline for applications for the next round of grants is September 6 with all clubs encouraged to contact angela.williams@powys.gov.uk.
Application forms and full details are online and can be found on the Sport Wales website: www.sportwales.org.uk
