Bishops Castle 200-3 lost to Lilleshall 214 all out by 14 runs
BISHOPS Castle handed Lilleshall a fright before falling to a 14 run defeat.
Alan Walker (28), Connor Steele (27), Adam Copsey (26) and Charlie Conquest (23) led a strong middle order after an opening knock from Tom Mackriel (24) helped Lilleshall post 214 to defend.
Simon Palmer (2-29), Richard Powell 92-19), Aaron Lewis (2-22) and Tom Moulder (2-57) led the Castle attack.
Jonathan Price (114) and Moulder (55) starred in reply but key man Mackriel (2-42) restricted Castle to 200-3 to edge his side a hard fought win.
