Montgomery 218-7 beat Wellington IIIs 129 all out by 89 runs
Alex Bromley claimed his best ever figures to inspire Montgomery to an 89 run win against Wellington IIIs.
Having won the toss captain Sam Williams elected to bat first and it immediately proved to be the right decision with openers Thomas Corfield (30) and Andrew Barker (71) getting Montgomery off to a good start.
Barker was joined by Ieuan Griffiths whose knock of 58 took his number of first team league runs this season to 368 with Tim Davies (18) and Williams (14) guiding Montgomery s 218-7.
Bromley (5-42) starred in reply with Williams (3-23) and Aaron Ruff-Cock (2-28) completing Welly’s demise for just 129 with Lewis Gough (53) top scoring.
