Alberbury 190 all out beat Allscott 96 all out by 94 runs
ALBERBURY kick started their campaign with a 94 run home win over Allscott.
The hosts top order laid the foundations with Mike Crawshaw (44) supported by Dan Leach (23) and Adam Lawrence (20) before Jason Summers (4-56) struck.
Sam Morris kept the middle order ticking over before departing to Chris Starling (2-45) for 20 with Myles Thomas (22) leading the tail end before being stumped off Shaun Rigby (3-17) to leave Neil Savage (19no) and Alberbury all out for 190.
Morris starred with his 5-35 tearing the heart out of the Allscott reply.
Middle order resistance was led by Kieran Barry before falling to Savage (3-3) for 32 with Andy Holloway (1-31) completing Allscott’s collapse for 96 in the 22nd over.
