DANNY Barton starred with a brace as Guilsfield Reserves saw off Forden United to book their place in the final of the Llansantffraid Village Cup with a 4-1 win on Friday.
Luke Francis broke the deadlock before the evergreen Barton headed the Guils into a two goal lead at the start of the second-half.
Harry Garthwaite looked to have sealed the Guils progress before Josh Gethin reduced the arrears for the Mitsubishi Division Two champions.
However the Guils were not to be denied with Barton completing his brace to set-up a final date with Four Crosses in Llansanttfraid on Friday.
