CHAZ Davies kick started his World Superbike Championship campaign with a double podium in Spain last weekend.
The Presteigne ace ended second in race one aboard an Arbua. It Ducati before a superb second race saw Davies pip Kawasaki’s Jon Rea to pole.
This weekend Davies heads to Assen in Holland, a track which Davies has tasted success four times in the past, sitting second in the WSBK rankings after three rounds.
Davies said: “I feel really confident even though historically Assen hasn’t been our most favourable track.
“We’ve improved our set-up and pace there over the years and are getting closer and closer to the goal.
“I think it’s going to be another great battle and can’t wait to get started.”
