CAERSWS face a testing weekend with two games in 24 hours.

The Bluebirds make the trip to Rhyl on Saturday before making the journey to Waterloo Rovers in the last eight of the Central Wales Cup on Sunday.

Manager Graham Evans said: “Rhyl have the best stadium in Welsh football and its a great place to play.

“Rhyl have a good home record so we know it will be tough but the lads are well up for this game and if we play with the same attitude and intensity of our last game then we can win.”

Evans insisted Sunday’s clash with Waterloo Rovers would be just as tough.

“Waterloo will look to take advantage of us playing twice in two days and while it is not ideal it will certainly be no excuse for not progressing,” said Evans. “Tiredness is all in the head and I trust my group of players to be up for this fight.

“We have entered the Central Wales Cup to win it and we will go to Waterloo with the aim of progressing to the semi-finals.”

Rhydian Davies and Graham Jones are ruled out while Paul Grant is cup tied with Luke Roughley returning for Sunday.
