LLANIDLOES Town remained on course for a league and cup double after clinching their place in the semi-finals of the Pip Samuel Electrical Mid Wales League (South) Cup with a 3-2 win at home to Builth Wells Reserves.
Goals from Gregg Brown and Jake Mantell gave the Daffodils the lead before Charlie Boucher reduced the arrears.
The evergreen Adrian Foulkes restored Llanidloes’ two goal cushion after the break before Dave Thomas hit back for the Bulls.
The home side weathered a late storm with Liam Davies clearing off his line before completing victory and a place in the semi-finals.
