RHAYADER Town maintained their title tilt with an 8-0 victory at Hay St Marys Reserves.
Jordan McFadden’s hat-trick and a Jamie Evans double laid the foundations with Callum McKenzie, Aaron Bates and Taylor Wozencraft also netting.
Rhys Evans was the hero as Llanidloes Town Reserves ground out a 1-0 win over Presteigne Reserves as Newcastle kept up the pressure with a 5-0 win over Felindre.
Carl Price completed a hat-trick with Craig Morris and Jimmy Thomas also netting for the Shropshire side.
Elsewhere Brecon Northcote prevailed 5-4 winners in a thriller at Knighton Town Reserves.
Rory Miles’ hat-trick and a Curtis Williams double sealed the points for the Stags while a Scott Davies brace and strikes from Jordan Griffiths and Barry Allen kept the Robins in contention.
