ALUN Brooks claimed two podium finishes in the No Limits Newcomer 600s at Oulton Park last weekend.
The Welshpool speed racer led the opening race in Cheshire before dropping to fourth and would be satisfied with third place following a red flag decision.
Brooks led the second race for three laps after battling back from eighth place on the grid but brake problems led to him dropping back to end third once more.
A tired Brooks narrowly failed to complete his hat-trick of podiums, ending fourth in the final race of the day.
