KNIGHTON Town were knocked off their perch as leaders of the second division in a 3-1 defeat at Rhosgoch Rangers.

To compound their misery the Robins also saw Lee Sutton sent off and ended the match with 10 men.

It took five minutes for Rangers to break the deadlock with Liam Jones converting a penalty.

However, Knighton stormed back to level with Mike Cooper releasing Connor Bird to calmly slot home the equaliser.

Rhosgoch regained their lead on half-time with Sutton deflecting Josh Watson’s header into his own net.

Price hit the woodwork while Geraint Lloyd forced goalkeeper Joe Prosser into action before Price atoned for his earlier miss with a late settler.

Llanfair United’s title bid faltered in a goalless draw at Kerry to allow Four Crosses to go top of the table.

Crosses prevailed 3-1 winners at Talgarth Town with Owen Wilcock outstanding for the visitors with a brace.

Jack Harris opened the scoring in the second-half before Wilcock took centre stage with a superb brace while Rob McNamara replied.

Meanwhile, honours ended even  at Cae Glas as Machynlleth hit back to claim a point in a 4-4 draw at home to Presteigne.

Machynlleth raced ahead with goals from John Wilde and Mike Price but Presteigne were level at half-time through Duane Anning and Christian Roberts.

Presteigne were indebted to goalkeeper Luke Brimfield who was finally beaten as Simon Davies pounced on a loose ball in the area.

However, Dale Thomas’ back pass deceived goalkeeper Tom Jenkins to level before Alan Stocker raced onto another loose ball to fire the visitors ahead with just minutes remaining.

Machynlleth were not to be denied a deserved point with Davies volleying home in injury-time.

Aberaeron thrashed Llanfyllin Town 7-2 with braces each for Gareth Lewis, James Hemmings and Ryan Jones.

Simon MacJack completed the rout with Rad Miazga and Jack Wright replying.
