JANET Hughes, of Penyfilltir, Bont Dolgadfon, near Llanbrynmair, celebrated her 80th birthday recently.
The money gifts she received, totalling £270, have been donated to the Welsh Air Ambulance due to Janet having to use the service two years ago.

Janet said: "I am very grateful for all gift and donations received."
