Man gets to try out 70-year-old sheep shearing device

AN ARDDLEEN man was delighted to be given the chance to try out a sheep shearing device.
George Morgan, now aged 80, was happy to try out a chain-operated sheep shearing machine at Tom Jones' shop, Welshpool.

His daughter, Yvonne Ellis, said: "The picture was taken some 40 years ago.

"The sheep shearing machine was 70 years old at the time and George will be delighted to see this picture again."
