CHIRBURY and Marton Young Farmers Club is celebrating its golden jubilee this year.
The club was started in 1958 by Mr J Beavan, of Winsbury, Mrs A Oliver, of Marton, and Emrys Humphreys, also of Marton.
Starting off with a healthy 30 members, the group has been active ever since, often winning prizes at county and national level. The featured photograph was taken at the club's first outing to Bibby's in Liverpool, which was in 1959.
