A CHAMPION chrynsanthemum grower extended his success to leeks in 1984.
Elwyn Pugh of Kerry, had swept the board at the Kerry Village Show with his Chrysanthemums and went on to compete in the National Chrysanthemum Show at Westminster Hall, London.

But not content with that success, he also turned his attention to leeks for the Kerry Horticultural Show, winning the section.

Because of this considerable success, Elwyn was invited to appear on BBC Wales' gardening programme, Gardening Together.
