ADELE Nicoll's remarkable end to 2023 has seen the Welshpool athlete shortlisted for the December 2023 Athletes’ Athlete of the Month award All World Class Programme.
The 27 year old shot putter, discus thrower and bobsledder has won multiple Welsh Athletics Championships events - including the shot put event at the 2022 British Athletics Championships.
In the same year she competed in the Commonwealth Games.

She came second in the 2021–22 Bobsleigh World Cup event in Sigulda, Latvia alongside Mica McNeill and was a reserve for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Alongside Kya Placide she got herself among the medals at the IBSF Europe Cup in Lillehammer in Norway in December, picking up a bronze medal in race one of the event.
In the first two days of the event in the Monobob, Nicoll also finished fourth in both races.
