An artist and poet from Bwlch-y-cibau will be showing off some live animal cartooning and signing copies of his book in Welshpool this bank holiday weekend.
Mark Bardsley's book of Crazy Animal Poems contains 55 poems illustrated in full colour, and will be on sale at the event at Coed-y-Dinas, Welshpool on Saturday May 26, and on Bank Holiday Monday, May 28 from 9am.
Mark, who says he has been writing humorous poetry since he was "knee high to a guinea pig", has been a freelance artist for many years but has also taught art, constructed "strange musical instruments" and managed a community theatre.
His illustrations have appeared on British television, including BBC 2’s Autumn Watch Unsprung, and in many books and publications.
Mark will be drawing cartoons and signing book copies from 9am.
