A TEENAGE serial sex pest from Welshpool has been warned by a Judge that he faces a lengthy spell in prison when he will be sentence next month.

Kieran Mark Goodwin, 19, of Little Henfaes Drive will be sentenced next month after admitting his guilt to a string of charges at Mold crown court on Wednesday morning.

Goodwin appeared at court by video link and changed his previous plea to guilty to 23 offences of causing a child to watch a sexual act, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and facilitating the commission of a child sex offence.

Goodwin also admitted to a charge of assault and two charges of damaging iPhones.

One charge of sexual activity with a child which he denied was allowed to remain on the file at the request of prosecuting barrister John Philpotts.

He had previous admitted further charges which will all be sentenced at the same time.

Judge Rhys Rowlands,adjourned the case for a full pre-sentence report to be prepared and said that that there were eight complainants,

He told Goodwin that he would receive credit for his guilty pleas.

Judge Rowlands, said: “You will appreciate that these are very serious matters.

“There can only be a custodial sentence and it will be of some length.”

Goodwin was remanded in custody pending his sentence on May 24.

Victim impact statements will be finalised at that stage.
