THIS year’s Newtown Male Voice Choir annual concert will be taking place this Sunday, May 13, at Newtown Baptist Church, starting at 7pm.

The choir will be joined by ‘Two Teas and a Cothi’ with Welsh classical singer, actress, Radio Cymru presenter and a former music teacher at Caereinion High School Shân Cothi, Llanbrynmair tenor and farmer Aled Wyn Davies, and tenor Rhys Meirion, who is returning to Newtown after the successful concert with the choir two years ago.

The guests will be accompanied by Annette Bryn Parri.

The choir, conducted by Sarah Astley-Davies and accompanied by Greg Jenkins, will be performing a number of popular songs, including some classics and some new material. They will be joined by Geraint Peate, who will be returning as compere for the concert.
