ARE you a fan of spooky tales?
Cats Protection’s Newtown and District Branch is teaming up with ghost hunter and historian Rory Evans on Monday, April 30, to raise money for our feline friends.
For £5 people can attend a historical and eerie Ghost Talk narrated by Rory, from 7pm to 9pm, at the Mid Wales Arts Centre, Maesmawr.
Rory said “Everyone is invited, it will be a great evening full of excitement.
“I’ll be telling some ghostly tales as well as asking others to share their spooky stories too. So if you fancy a night of thrilling and chilling tales, or if you’re a fan of the black cat, do come along.”
Sheila Phillips, fosterer and education volunteer at Cats Protection’s Newtown & District Branch, said: “We’re so grateful to Rory and can’t thank him enough.
“There’ll also be a raffle at £1 a ticket with prizes including a ‘pamper hamper’ from Morrison’s and Cats Protection cat care items. Also included is a voucher from Bev’s Mobile Hair and Beauty, donated by our new secretary, Beverley Roberts.”
Member Jeanie O’Neill, is running this year’s London Marathon on April 22.
