There’s a second chance for anyone wanting to get a different perspective on Radnorshire - as a book featuring a collection of stunning aerial photographs of the county has been reprinted.
“Radnorshire From Above” by Chris Musson, is a collection of images shot from the air, showing traces of the county’s history spanning over 4,000 years, which are still visible in the landscape.
They pick out the ceremonial sites and burial mounds of pioneering Neolithic and Bronze Age farmers, the farmsteads of Iron Age tribes, and the campaigning camps and forts of the Roman army.
Further highlights are the stunning boundary work of Offa’s Dyke, the county’s Norman and medieval castles, its historic towns, villages, churches, plus the present day tourist attractions of the Elan Valley.
