A BODY has been found in the search for a missing woman in Knighton.

Hollie Kerrell, 28, has been missing since Sunday and a 35-year old man is still in custody being questioned on suspicion of murder.

At the moment no formal identification has been made but the Powys Coroner has been informed.

Police have been seen searching farm outbuildings at Whitton a few miles outside Knighton where it is believed her body was found.

Full time mother and keen horsewoman, Hollie, moved to Knighton from Kingsbridge in Devon in the last few months.

She would sell makeup and beauty products for Younique online and knitted baby clothes and cot blankets.

She also had a market stall in Llandrindod Wells.

Superintendent, Jon Cummins, of Dyfed-Powys Police, said: "We are saddened to confirm a body has been found during the search of missing Hollie Kerrell.

"Our thoughts are with her family, who are being supported by specially trained officers at this extremely sad time.

“The man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody for questioning. I would like to reassure the community we are not looking for anyone else in connection with Hollie’s death.

“We continue to appeal for information that can help us understand what happened to Hollie, who was last seen at her home address in Knighton on Sunday, April 22, at around 10am. If you have any information or sightings of Hollie from 5pm on Saturday April 21 onwards, please contact us by calling 101.”

An incident room has been set up in Llandrindod Wells police station, and enquiries have led to the arrest.
