Two people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the A483 between Llananno and Llanbadarn Fynydd.
Five people were treated at the scene, one of which was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and another taken to Hereford County Hospital.
Dyfed-Powys Police said one person was believed to be trapped inside a vehicle.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said two rapid response vehicles and three emergency ambulances were sent to the scene.
Emergency services were called to the collision at around 3pm on Wednesday, March 28.
Police had asked motorists to avoid the area.

One lane was blocked and was closed for some time causing traffic delays.
Mid & West Wales Fire also attended the scene.
