LLANRHAEADR kept the pressure on first division leaders Berriew, with a comfortable win at basement boys Presteigne.
Connor Bird fired Presteigne’s only shot of the game directly at goalkeeper Darren Powell, in the hosts’ only chance.
Llanrhaeadr took control with two goals in 10 minutes from Simon Edwards.
Edwards broke the deadlock on 30 minutes by following up to net after Trevor Gummer saved his header.
Ten minutes later Edwards completed his brace, after Emyr Roberts glanced Joe Vaughan’s corner across the face of goal.
Adam Burgess wrapped up victory on the hour with a close range header, before substitute Joe Mackinson played his part in setting up Paul Jones to complete the scoring.
