COUNTY Times deputy editor Mark Lingard was one of the first to take up the Macmillan fundraising gauntlet - agreeing to a half marathon challenge.
Mark, who has only ever completed one half marathon before, will attempt to run 12 half marathons in 12 months in support of the cancer charity.
Starting in Sleaford in February, and ending in Cardiff in October, it promises to be a tough year, and a pretty tough tour of what the UK has to offer.
More details will be added later, including how you can join Mark for the final race of the 12 - the Cardiff Half Marathon which takes place in the middle of October.
