MIKE Davies is facing mounting selection problems ahead of Carmarthen Town’s visit to Park Hall on Saturday (2.30pm).
With defender Phil Baker facing two months on the sidelines he has been joined on the treatment table by winger Craig Jones, who hobbled off with half an hour remaining at Llanelli last week.
Meanwhile striker Chris Sharp completes his suspension, while defender Tommy Holmes faces a spell on the sidelines after being red carded after an altercation with Llanelli midfielder Chris Venables last weekend.
With midfielder Aeron Edwards also on the casualty list the Saints will be severely stretched for the visit of Tomi Morgan’s side.
The loss of five players will see manager Mike Davies look to deploy transfer deadline day signing Marco Giglio, who arrived from Liverpool’s academy at the start of the month.
The 18-year-old left-sided midfielder will join defender Connell Rawlinson in easing Davies’ selection headaches.
Davies said: “It’s disappointing, but we’ve got a cracking squad and I’ve every confidence in the lads who will come in.”
Striker Matty Williams will continue to lead the Saints line after recovering from a head injury, with Alex Darlington set to join him in attack.
